Siete Layer Bean Dip

Serves: 4-5 People (as an appetizer)Prep Time: 30-40 minutesTotal Time: 45 minutes

  1. Siete Sprouted Bean Dip
  2. Guacamole
  3. Salsa Cruda
  4. Sour cream (or sour cream alternative)
  5. Siete Mild Cashew Queso
  6. Black Olives
  7. Finely shredded iceberg Lettuce + Green Onions

For Guacamole Layer:

  • 3 large avocados
  • 1 serrano pepper, finely diced
  • ⅓ of a small white onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
  • Sea Salt
  • Juice of 1 lime

For Salsa Cruda Layer:

  • 4 roma tomatoes, large dice
  • ¼ small red onion, large dice
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, large dice
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
  • Sea Salt
  • Juice of 2 limes

Other Ingredients:

For Guacamole Layer:

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit.
  2. Scoop the flesh into a big mixing bowl and smash with a fork until it's as chunky or as smooth as you like it.
  3. Mix in the cilantro, serrano, lime juice, and salt to taste.

For Salsa Cruda Layer:

  1. Combine the tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and salt in a food processor.
  2. Pulse until the mixture is chunky.
  3. Transfer to a clean mixing bowl and stir in the lime juice.

In a medium bowl or 8x8 baking dish:

  1. Spread the bean dip evenly on the bottom, followed by the guacamole, salsa cruda, sour cream, and Siete Mild Cashew Queso. When adding each layer, make sure to spread all the way out to the edges. Also, ensure the outer edge of layers thicker so it is more visible through the glass.
  2. Add the black olives, followed by the thinly shredded lettuce and green onions.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips on the side.
